Tim Wasem

Tim is a middle school English teacher and writer who lives with his wife, son, and dog in the mountains of East Tennessee. Approaching his 30th year, he’s still working toward being considered a master of the short story and the next Greg Maddux. He’d be cool with just one of those though.

Johnny Gamber

Johnny came to pencil blogging with Pencil Revolution, in 2005. He holds a PhD in philosophy and used to work in faculty development and higher-ed/community engagement before becoming a stay-at-home-dad. Johnny lives in Baltimore City, where he enjoys reading, walking and drawing bad cartoons with his two adorable kids. He covers up his accent very badly, Hon.

Andy Welfle

Andy starting blogging about pencils in 2007 after buying a sampler pack and reviewing them on his personal blog. That led to a gig reviewing products at the now-defunct PencilThings.info, which eventually led to his own blog, Woodclinched. He worked at Pencils.com for a short time managing the social media community. Today, he is a content strategist at Facebook and lives in San Francisco, California.
